Bloomden® multilayer products consist of five layers of zirconia with either different color or translucency value. Their aesthetically pleasing gradient look mimics that of natural teeth and minimizes the time needed to finish the construction manually. Depending on the product type, only glazing and minor touch-ups are needed. In some cases painting and staining can be eliminated entirely.

For all multilayer models 16 shades on Vita scale are available. In addition, Multilayer Extra-Translucent is available in bleach.

Multilayer 3D Pro is the ultimate game changer for any dental laboratory and technician looking to find a one-disc and all-purpose solution for dental restorations.

Its unparalleled Combinate Technology creates such a perfectly seamless and natural looking progression of translucency that only minimal staining if any is necessary to finish the construction. Sintering can be done immediately after milling and only glaze or polish is needed to achieve an impeccable look.

With a 5-point tested minimum flexural strength of >650–1,200 MPa, 3D Pro multilayer zirconia is suitable for all indications from single crowns to up to 14-unit bridge constructions.

Translucency 42–49%

Flexural strength >1200–650 MPa

Available thicknesses 12 mm and 25 mm

Translucency Gradient

3D Pro Multilayer blanks consist of five layers of varying translucency and flexural strength. For example, a 3D Pro Multilayer blank in VITA shade A2 maintains the same monolithic color throughout all layers, but the varying translucency layers create an impression of gradient color.

Each of the layers consists of a combination of nano-zirconia powders. The incisal layer is 4 mm thick on all size variations of the 3D Pro Multilayer model.

3D Pro Multilayer blanks are designed to give a perfectly natural looking shade transition from dark to light, which makes them ideal for frontal restorations. The translucency of the work pieces is comparable to that of lithium disilicate glass ceramic and only minor touch-ups are needed to accomplish the finished look.
